Hey Everyone,

This is your Lord and Master speaking. I wanted to let you all know that we are now open once again to new registrations.

Looking forward to seeing you all here on the new forums as we continue to build this website.

Phew. What a year.

I've been pretty uninspired to work on my websites. My goal is to create as many interlinked websites as possible, but perhaps I bit off more than I could chew. I could have gone down the Drupal/Joomla CMS route but something seems wrong with that.

In other words, CMS systems are great for:

  • Getting a site up and running quickly
    Generic sites

As soon as you want to do anything slightly different, you need to re-write the main bits of the website.

So I have to write this from scratch.

Unfortunately Im one man. Being involved in computers, you'd think this was the perfect combination to shed out some sites in no time! But its like the gynacologist. You get home, and you don't want to face a computer ever again. I also just don't have the same energy I had six years ago, where I could stay up til 2am coding and fixing and repairing websites.

Every now and again I get the bug - and this time, I've coded a Login feature - login.blargle.co.uk and linked through the main three websites - Blargle, Celebrity Researcher, Login oh, and this Forum website.

You can't register and change your details at the moment, but I hope to get that sorted soon before returning to more work on the:

  • Filmographies
    Picture Gallery
    Links
    Comments
    Polls

Then the admin side so I can update this easily.

Cheers

We have introduced a replacement to the PHPBB2 Forums using the rather excellent Simple Machines Forum software.

Its a little different, but I hope you find it great.

After a long period of desolation, I have finally got the zest back for web development.

I have introduced a quick news section that still has to have a little work done, but at least now if there's any news to bring you, you can find it from the front page of Celebrity Researcher.

Eventually this will all be linked into Blargle and news shall be shared back and forth.

Keep watching Celebrity Researcher for further updates!

Blargle and its websites, including Celebrity Researcher are back, and hopefully reconfigured on this new server. Hopefully that'll be the end of any further problems.

Thanks for bearing with us..

My hosting provider has once again got some hosting problems.

You may notice this site will disappear again within a few days as we try to trasnfer all the information across. Fortunately, the database is OK so this should stay intact.

Stay tuned to the front page of http://www.blargle.co.uk for information when you do notice a problem.

Dead beat is a great film. And I understand your sentiment over VHS. DVD is superior. But if concorde isn't available, I dont mind travelling by 747 (if that makes sense).

Apologies friends for the temporary site downtime. But the site is back, and hopefully faster than ever thanks to the wonderful people at Ghoulnet,http://www.ghoulnet.com,  who host our site, and who were able to restore our information so quickly.

And thanks to our visitors who still dont use this site.

Cheers
